JETTY ROAD WIN MAJOR AIADA AWARD. Kaum von ihrer Kanada und Europa Tour zu Hause in Australien angekommen, kann die Gruppe bereits ihre zweite Auszeichnung innerhalb einer Woche entgegennehmen. Die mit 20000 AUS $ am höchsten dotierte Auszeichnung in der Australischen Musikszene konnte die Band entgegennehmen um damit ihre Karriere weiterhin zu entwickeln.
Jetty Road received an amazing 'welcome home' from their 2011 international tour on Saturday night, taking out the major AIADA Professional Development Award worth $20,000 at Rooty Hill RSL. In an emotional speech, Lee, Paula, Julian and SImon said they felt very honoured and privileged to win the inaugural awards, and were also grateful that their hard work was being recognised. It was their second award win within a week, also winning the Group/Duo of the Year Award a the Mildura Southern Stars Independent Country Music Awards. Now seen as the premiere prize in Australian Independent Country Music, the AIADA Awards recognise excellence within the Australian Independent Country Music scene.
